My Dachshund

My Dachshund’s name is Charlie.  He is smooth haired and is black and tan in color.  He was born September 9, 1996 in Bellevue, Washington.  He is purebred and in terms of weight, is borderline between miniature and standard.  His pedigree is certified by the American Kennel Club.

I obtained Charlie from a Dachshund breeder in Bellevue in the latter part of 1996.  I brought him home when was only 3 months old and can still hear him whimpering in his new kennel on the back seat of my car.

He has been a joy beyond comprehension and I can never pay him back for what he has given me.  If you are a Dachshund lover, or dog lover in general, I’m sure you know what I mean.
