Charlie

My Dachshund’s name was Charlie. He was short haired and black and tan in color. He was born September 9, 1996 in Bellevue, Washington and passed December 20, 2010 in Beaverton, Oregon. He was purebred and in terms of weight, was borderline between miniature and standard. His pedigree is certified by the American Kennel Club.

I obtained Charlie from a Dachshund breeder in Bellevue in the latter part of 1996. I brought him home when he was only 3 months old and can still hear him whimpering in his new kennel on the back seat of my car.

He was a joy beyond comprehension and I think of him often. I miss him.
