Dachshund Gifts

All Proceeds to Dachshund Rescue

Here is how this works: I do not sell anything directly (except for the photos and postcards referenced towards the bottom of this page) but help others sell by advertising them on my site. If you buy something from this page the vendor gives me 10% of the purchase price and that will go to Dachshund Rescue. This may not sound like much but it quickly adds up.

Proof of past donations can be seen within the following article that I authored: Donating to Dachshund Rescues: My Experiences and Insights

So please, if you ever buy anything Dachshund related, do it through my site. I have a full time job and can afford to donate the proceeds from this site. Please spread the word. Thanks so much!

I am getting a miniature dachsund in 4 weeks, when he can finally come home!! I am trying to get things ready and want to know how big are they when they’re full grown. Not pound wise but length in inches because I want to get him a crate that will suite him comfortably. Would a 24″x18″x19″ be the right size for the little guy when he’s full grown?

Hi Ashley and thanks for visiting the site! If the Dachshund is indeed a miniature Dachshund I think your crate dimensions should work just fine per him/her growing up into adulthood. Congratulations!
